Students will be able to choose how they would like to sit in class. The materials will also help to calm students in times of distress. Special Education students do not always learn in a typical way, but providing them with options for seating will help them feel like learning is more in their control. The cushions can be used in any chair or desk. The bouncy bands can also go on any chair or desk. The bean bag seat is perfect for quiet reading time! Students will feel so welcomed by the new additions to the classroom that learning will definitely take place each day. On their own terms and in their own choice of seat!
