As a first year teacher I lack a lot of basic materials and working at a Title 1 school there is not much money to go around. I have applied for this grant to hopefully make my class more welcoming to my students. This will allow my students to have a soft and special place to gather in the classroom. I want my students to feel welcomed and comfortable in my class. This chair and rug will help accomplish that. I want to have a nice area for my students to enjoy our time together.
