My kindergarten students will be returning to school next month. Because of COVID-19, my school has told us that we will be expecting students to be in the same area all day in the classroom. There will not be carpet or library time. Currently, my room is equipped with basic tables and chairs. My vision is for a comfortable classroom. I will be putting tape on the floor to make squares for the students to stretch out in, but also be socially distanced to maintain health standards. In these squares, I would like to be able to put yoga mats and a flexible seating chair so they don't have to be in the same uncomfortable seat all day. My students will have the option to lay down and work or sit up and work. Comfort is such an important thing in a classroom. If students are not comfortable then they will not be as productive or efficient. Please help me fund comfortable seating for my classroom. Thank you!
