This project is an important one for our students as it helps them have easy access to fully charged iPads without the danger of cords. Our first graders embrace technology and for many of these precious students, the use of classroom iPads is their first exposure to technology. These carts will allow all students to have an iPad at the same time. Our school offers wonderful educational apps that students are able to utilize while being engaged and learning. This is where tomorrow's future begins: with these eager to learn first grade children. Learning should be fun and with all students able to have their very own fully charged iPad, it will make a world of difference. Students will stay engaged and focused as they learn concepts using technology as a vehicle that prepares them for the future. We are hopeful that all our students will be able to go to college. The beginning use of electronic devices is a foundation that will help get them there. That is what my colleague and I strive for everyday for the past twenty years.
