In today's 'new normal' students are spending more time on computers for every single class. Teachers have all been highly encouraged to digitize as much of their lesson material as possible. While this challenge is possible and offers some exciting new tools it translate into students spending hour starring at a computer screen. Generally computer use is done while sitting down. However, a prolonged sedentary posture is not good for student engagement. I believe that my room is the perfect place to offer students and alternative. I hope to offer the option to students to rotate into a workstation that will allow them to use a standing desk. I believe this experience will improve learning, increase engagement and benefit student's overall physical and emotional health.
