The students at my school will be able to use these items/activities at home and at school that will help them with their overall mental health, social and emotional needs so that they can be the most successful academically. Teaching the students ways to cope with their emotions, to feel loved and safe and to know that they are special will help them feel equipped and motivated to do their best with their school learning. Children won't be able to succeed in school unless other basic need areas are addressed.
