All of our special education students want access to the general education curriculum. We see a lot of our students inside inclusive classrooms. As special education teachers we need to ensure our special education students can effectively participate in the curriculum and transition appropriately with the general population. Many of our students need access to visuals to understand directions or redirect behavior. Organization and writing skills are lower, so the need for pencils to supply them and larger in size are very important. Fidgets allow our students to feel comfortable and confident inside the classroom when the environment is new and unknown. As special education teachers inside inclusive classrooms we do not have our "own" room to call home. With these carts and accessories for our students to load onto them we can create a successful floating classroom with all things to provide our students inside the classroom.
