The school supplies will make a great difference in my students' ability to learn. One of my biggest challenge each day is that my classes are not always prepared. The highlighter for example will be used as a tool for annotation and note-taking. The folders will be used as evidence for students to chart their individual growth and progress throughout the semester, and use it as inspiration to keep moving towards higher grades. Most of my students are from a socioeconomic disadvantage and struggle just to come to class with a pen/pencil. I will be grateful and so will my students.
