During my live Google Meets, I have to restart programs if I have too many tabs open on my computer since my computer lacks memory and speed. My students are very patient when this occurs, but it takes away from their valuable learning time. Before my virtual classes begins I have to close the majority of my tabs in order for my computer to have enough memory to run the synchronous meet along with the software programs that I use for instruction. Besides having difficulty with synchronous e-learning, my current technology is very slow for video creation. With all of my classes this school year, I am using the "flipped" learning philosophy of pre-recording my lessons for students to view outside of class. I use Camtasia software for video creation. This software license will be able to be transferred to my new device. Due to the lack of speed of my computer, "rendering" my videos to mp4 format and then uploading to YouTube is very time consuming.
