These exciting books will continue to enhance the print-rich classroom that we strive to create in normal times even as we carry out hybrid learning. We usually borrow book sets from another school and have students share books to teach English/Language Arts through novels. However, with COVID restrictions we are unable to do so this fall. Please help us teach our students the theme of perseverance as well as subthemes of resiliency, growth mindset, and working with others as we learn from our differences. Students will study character perspectives, using details as evidence, figurative language, and author's purpose. Students will have multiple exciting projects to keep them engaged in learning while at school and when learning at home.
