When I became a teacher, I never thought that I would be teaching virtually, let alone virtual kindergarten! This year I will be teaching my kindergarten class 100% online. As one can imagine, it is difficult to teach virtually, especially the little ones! Many of the materials I have are paper copies or hands-on materials. Unfortunately, this leaves me with fewer resources than I would like to have for my students. I would like to provide them with as many engaging materials as possible. For reading and math, I hope to be able to purchase supplemental resources such as digital games, Boom Cards, and activities that my students will be able to access through our district online platforms. These resources will align with our Common Core Standards. I am hoping to also purchase cross-curricular resources(social studies/science)! My goal is to ensure that my students are receiving the best education they can during these uncertain times. I hope to make this year as "normal" and successful for my students as possible. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your help!
