My classes for Art are 30 minutes in length and are back to back with no time to prep in between. I would like to use these organizing drawers to help my students have the materials at hand for the day's lesson and also to develop independent skills. I can load up the drawers with art materials at the beginning of the week and assign captains for each table to get the needed supplies on their own. This will allow me more time to engage my students in the lesson and to rotate to each table for assistance and advise. With limited prep time in my art room, these organizing drawers will be a lifesaver. Students will be able to be responsible and helpful citizens in my classroom. The amount of time I spend putting supplies out on tables can now be used for actual teaching and helping my students.
