Having up-to-date technology will help enhance the distance learning classroom that my students deserve. It will allow me to connect with them on a more concrete level by being able to provide more interactive activities to develop and target their speech/language goals. Further, it will create an environment that will lead to meaningful communication and increased generalization of their abilities. My students have a wide variance in their abilities, but that pushes me to help bridge the gap and guide them to efficient and effective access to their curriculum. Distance learning will not defeat my students. They will overcome any obstacle.
