My special needs students come from shelters and temporary housing. They do not have the appropriate books and tools to help them with their learning needs. With the material requested I am trying to fulfill the minimum of what is required for them to kick start the reading, phonics, and eventually I am hoping for them to find their love of reading!!! Please help me so I can help my young learners meet their learning needs!!! I will use the easel in every lesson, I will use the leveled books during my reading workshop and make book baggies so they can read independently in class, I will have my students learn reading and sound blending with the help of hands on games I have requested. They are eager to learn and given the appropriate tools, they will only excel!
