These books will help my students to better tackle social emotional learning. Social emotional learning is an important part of our day in our classroom. These social emotional books will be used during both in-person learning and at-home virtual learning. Students not only need to learn skills for reading and math - they also need to learn social emotional skills that will help them to grow emotionally. These social emotional books will help to teach students about things like responsibility, respect, honesty, and accepting others. Students benefit from picture books like these because they are able to easily relate to the characters in the stories and what is going on in their lives.
