No one likes being forced to read a book that doesn't interest them. Having a classroom library with exciting nonfiction and fiction options is essential to encouraging and fostering excitement about reading. Students daily have the opportunity to engage in independent reading and build their interests. This project will add much-needed diversity and student requested reading material to my classroom library. Many students do not have access to paper books in their home, so this will be a connection between home and school. This will help make our classroom library an even more exciting place in our classroom!
