Since there are so many different learners, we need many different things to help students learn. Some learners need to hear things and others need to see them. Some students struggle with over stimulating environments so we need things to help them feel safe and comfortable inside the classrooms. Getting all these different things will help many students feel safe and able to learn within the regular classroom with their peers. These items will also help students learn what they need to calm their bodies so that they are not overwhelmed with their emotions. The goal for these students are to be able to manage their emotions before they melt down. This way when their engines are running on high in the classroom these tools will help them self regulate their bodies so that they will be able to calm and stay in the classroom to learn.
