My current laptop is more than 6 years old and runs real slow. Currently I am not able to access many educational sites that I would love to use with my students. With Covid-19 we can not check books out so I rely on my laptop and white board daily for lessons, games, and movies. With a new laptop I will be able to access material that I haven't been able to in the past. I will be able to give my students a better learning experience with newer technology. A new laptop will help me with lessons on researching, and library skills with more hands on experience vs. worksheets. The students will be more involved this way vs. filling out worksheets, therefore are more likely to learn more from our lesson. With this new laptop my students will be able to play educational & interactive games on my whiteboard as we learn about our weekly library skills. I will be able to update our school library info from home on virtual days as needed. I will also be able to update and keep a virtual library for my students from school or at home.
