Over the summer of 2020 Lexia, which is part of Core5 Learning products did an upgrade. This program is one that my special education resource kiddos use with great success and that helps them learn and master phonics, phonemic awareness, and basic reading concepts. This is a high interest program that my students will not be able to access without the newest technology running the newest operating systems. iPads enable us to use a friendly app and allows for students to focus on the app rather than navigating through the internet entrance and it's many obstacles. My students will use these iPads for multiple learning apps. We will use the iPads for handwriting, Touch Math, shapes, colors, social emotional learning and more. I will also use these ipads for reinforcing student independent learning and responsible use of time on technology. Thank you for your support.
