The global pandemic has drastically changed what music is like in our school. We are unable to sing or play wind instruments inside. Being from Vermont, the time we can spend outside in good weather is limited. We have decided to start a drum line to keep students engaged in the band. Our students will use buckets, and a limited amount of snare drums. Our goal is to add a xylophone to our band. This will allow three more students to participate in our band. During this difficult time, students are struggling to find their new normal. I would love to be able to offer them a familiar, fun, and engaging opportunity.

About my class
