The Spheros robots will give the students an immediate, hands- on opportunity to make a computer function. They can make them drive around by remote control or autonomously. Once they get the hang of controlling a computer system, I will be able to transition them to the Raspberry Pi platform, where they will actually build the computer system and learn skills used by every computer programmer in the world. These items will seamlessly integrate with some of the other tools I have in the classroom and help create a more rounded educational experience in my computer science classes.

About my class
