I currently have 8 microscopes. Right now, I only have 5 that are half way decent. I am needing to replace them all, but am willing to replace them two at a time. When we do labs with microscopes, the current microscopes move out of focus easily or are badly scratched. Having new microscopes will decrease the frustration in finding specimens and allow students to become more comfortable with microscopes. With these microscopes, I will be able to use them in my environmental science class when we investigate living organisms in pond water. Over time, I will need to replace them all.
