I would love to find a way to enhance my classroom library to include a variety of titles that appeal to all readers on their own individual reading level. Furthermore, I would like to have headphones available to each student so that printed material can be read aloud to them and they can focus on content instead of struggling with the process of reading independently. We use various learning platforms in class that offer the option for materials to be read aloud to students but as stated, most of my students do not have personal headphones available to them. I plan to use the new books in my classroom to encourage my students to try new genres and hopefully, spark an interest in reading! Also, I included workbooks that I will photocopy (so they will last me for years to come) to be used in class to enhance their literacy instruction and strengthen any skill sets that need it.
