With Distance Learning and possibly hybrid learning, the students will create journals to practice writing letters, creating stories and drawing to help deal with strong emotions. (We are starting schools with distance learning, with students at home.) Our journals provide a special space for students to become authors of their own story. It gives them a voice in addition letter writing practice. The students will respond to a question at times, while also having the opportunity to write/draw about anything they want. This school year begins as no other. With the need to have school from home, these journals will provide an outlet for students to share their feelings, concerns and learning. The journal will become a personal book for each student as they become authors and illustrators.This book will be something that they will be proud of with your help. Thanks so much!
