Razkids provides my kinder students with books they can read right away. Level A books use the high frequency words we teach and picture clues to get students to believe they are readers. Students then move through the levels as their skills improve. This leveled eLibrary will put books in kids hands. It will provide scaffolding for my English Learners to hear books being read to them. Students will advance to levels that will provide comprehension practice. At the same time, students will also be able to record themselves reading. They can hear their own fluency and I can give them feedback on the reading strategies I hear them using to be successful readers! My feedback also provides coaching moves for parents who now find themselves being teachers at home. Students will use the sight during small group, Zoom guided reading lessons as well.
