I am a first year preschool teacher in a brand new classroom. New toys and new furniture are great, however the quantity of books purchased by my mentor teacher and supervisor were quite minimal. I would love to increase my classroom library so I can place books in each center and rotate books regular while continuing to foster my students’ love of reading. With the possibility of teaching and learning remotely, I would like to have a larger assortment of books to send home with my students. Sending books home is also a great way to promote and encourage parent/child engagement and interactions.
