Each year I welcome a new class of eager and bright students that we’re so excited to get to know. We work hard to make sure we provide amazing learning opportunities and engaging events to bring our school’s community together. I am writing on behalf of my students. I have the most amazing, hardworking, and caring students. We are at a 96% poverty rate and where every student receives free breakfast and lunch. Many of our students do not have the supplies that they need. However, due to COVID, parents had to cut back on school supplies. With the pandemic my parents’ first concern is, of course, food, rent and bills. There is little left over for school items so that the supplies they do get is cherished. I would appreciate it if the students were able to have their own personal space to keep them safe. While I strive to offer my students the best education possible, I need help with the resources and supplies to help my students. I want my students to feel like they have some control in all of this. I am looking to get of them their own chair sack to keep their supplies safe. Would you consider donating to help me achieve my mission? Your contribution will be vital to helping me succeed? If you choose to contribute, you will give more than just a chair sack. You’ll be a hero to the students.
