The materials in this list will be used to provide flexible seating options that can be used in a variety of ways! It is absolutely crucial for students to get up out of their desks and find stimulating spaces for them to read and learn. The flexible seating options listed can help them utilize flexible seating while also still socially distancing. We are trying to be creative with the space we have available while still abiding by social distancing measures. These seating options can be wiped down and cleaned easily. They provide students opportunities to move around and learn in different areas of the classroom. They will be used as seating options for students during independent work as well as during centers. It also provides us with a small group table that is large enough to put plastic dividers on so that we can still have small group work with the teacher safely to focus on specific skills and concepts with the children.
