With the restrictions on small group and partner work this year, students are struggling to develop essential reading skills. These "hear yourself phones" will allow students to read to themselves and really hear what they are saying. They will aid in stimulating the typical partner reading experience. It is my hope, that these phones will provide students with the practice they usually get during partner reading. With the social distancing restrictions this year, students are missing out on typical student-student practice and peer feedback. These phones will give students an increased listening experience that they otherwise would not be getting this year.

About my class
