The Lumens document camera will help my students get a more up close and personal learning experience while learning how to write letters and words. The document camera will allow my students to view me modeling how to write with the correct form. A classroom rug is an essential part of circle time. This area will be used to have students gather where I will read a story or do calendar time. Students will also use this quiet area for independent reading during centers. My dramatic play area is in need of an anchor piece of furniture. I am asking for the kitchen because I will be able to transform this particular item into other uses depending on the theme we are studying. It may be a kitchen to play 'house' but I can also change aspects of it and turn it into a fruit stand for our 'apple' theme. The wooden blocks will be great for STEM activities and play. Kids love to build and use their imagination while playing with blocks. It would be a nice and classic addition for my classroom. Lastly, I am asking for a bookshelf. The cubes will allow me to divide up the books by subject for greater ease of finding specific books for all students.
