By contributing to this project, you will help create 2 new centers in our music classroom. The first center that would be added would be a rhythm center, where students can practice using drum sticks and gain a feel for percussion instruments. The other center would consist of 3/4 size guitars. Starting in 3rd grade, our students begin learning the ukulele. Some students catch on very quickly and would like to be challenged with a different string instrument. By adding four more guitars to the ones already in our classroom, we can have a center for students to practice chords and learn new songs. These centers would allow my students to explore their own musical ideas, and practice an instrument at their own pace. The two centers would be a great addition to the pianos our students already have access to. Thank you for helping aspiring musicians in our school!
