My students will only be distance learning for at least the first quarter of school. This poses a challenge for all students, but especially ones with special needs. The use of a document camera will make a huge difference in the virtual learning process. It will allow me to project real-time modeling of math problems, writing and more. My students are visual learners and need to see me model what they are working on so that I can "walk" them through each step. By donating to this project, you will not only help them to see my teaching materials and modeling virtually, but also help improve and increase student attention and focus. This will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. Students will be able to simply focus on the academic material at hand. Plus in this technology world, any interaction with updated technology will increase their literacy as well as their desire to learn and use the new technology!
