While taking all precautions for social distancing, this school year has peaked my creativity in flexible seating. First graders require movement! Their young bodies and minds are not wired to sit at a desk all day. We can provide flexible seating while still adhering to social distance guidelines by way of yoga mats. The yoga mats will be stationed beside their desks. Whether it be practicing yoga during a movement break or solving equations on a clipboard while lying on their bellies, the mats will allow their productivity to flow!
