Everyone experiences, and learns about the world through their senses. Students learning to read are no different. With these tools students will learn to form words and experience letters through multiple pathways. The students will not only be able to hear the letter sounds, but using the sand and sandpaper letters students will also be able to feel the letter and make a stronger connection with it. The senses are a powerful way to learn! Often times a smell can bring you back to a fond memory. When using the Mr. Sketch markers, students will be committing the letter sounds and words they are forming to memory in a relaxed and interactive way. Reading resources are always an important part of learning to read. Through Teachers Pay Teachers, students will have access to targeted reading passages as well as fun and engaging games. Through these tools students will be able to access reading in a truly engaging way!
