These materials will give my students ample opportunities to diversify their reading material. Learning about their culture as well as others give them a better understanding of their environments. These students will be able to respect and appreciate each person for their unique traits. Our school culture is very diverse. These books will help them come together as one. Becoming one will eliminate the barrier between cultures and identities, which will allow a healthier learning environment. Therefor these books will not only widen their knowledge in the classroom but their knowledge in the world they live in.
