The supplies that are graciously donated will be used once the students return to on-campus learning, as growing plants is a hands-on task. These supplies will help students learn about how to grow and sustain food. In an age where there is extreme food instability, and in the midst of the Covid pandemic, giving students the resources to learn how to grow food for themselves and their families, as well as sustain our environment, is an essential skill. Additionally, these hands-on tasks are great for tactile learning and placing emphasis on the objective, which is how to grow and sustain plants and the impact on ourselves, communities and environment.
