In order to effectively plan and model document analysis, I will need to be able to print texts and other items to show students on my document camera. My classes focus heavily on building students' reading analysis skills through annotation, sourcing, and critical questioning. Students learn how to use evidence to build written and spoken arguments, so the ability to highlight key information in texts is central to their work. The computer monitor will help me keep texts on one screen and lesson materials on another so that I can better plan and model them in lessons from home as well.
