My students must keep up with the latest advancements in education to stimulate overall interest in language arts and math. There is a need to create individual written assignments and audio assignments for my special education intensive resource students. Students that I service are in 1st and 3rd grade and have already fallen behind their classmates. Also, English is my students 2nd language and there is a need to provide enriched vocabulary work, both in written and auditory work in my classroom and at home. My school media center doesn't have access to a multifunction printer and copier. The use of an iPad will also allow students to work on individual and group language art and math assignments.
