Learning at any age should be fun, especially at the kindergarten level! A kitchen set will allow my students to be engaged in a variety of different learning skills without even knowing it! Play kitchens help to build social development, motor skills, encourages pretend play, organization, healthy eating habits, helps to dismantle gender roles, and so much more! One of my goals for this year is to incorporate more play based learning! I'm hoping that adding a kitchen set to my classroom will be a great way to promote learning through play!
