My group of first graders is beginning their learning journey this year at home. While they are enthusiastic about learning to read, we do not have enough early readers at the kindergarten levels that most of these students need to begin with. Since they started learning at home in March of last year, many of them are far behind in their reading learning. These books will give them a rush of print that is accessible and that will build their confidence as fledgling readers. And while practicing reading is fun on the computer, reading on paper will protect their eyes from the strain of computer reading. Thank you for your generous support!
