This interactive Promethean board would make a huge difference in my students' learning because they currently view a completely broken Smart board. It's only function is to be used as a projector and even the projector has a dim bulb and unclear focus. Currently, to write on the board, I have to use markers and erase it with cleaning spray to be able to use it again. This board would allow the students opportunity for hands-on, interactive learning in every area. Additionally, I could use this for virtual learning because my students want to see their teacher teach. Currently, I have access to a webcam that I can use as a document camera, but it is not the same as seeing my facial expressions and enthusiasm through body language. I would teach in front of the current projector/smart board, but the light screen would display on me from the projector light and I cannot even click through things without being away from my computer, making it impossible. This is the same issue for when teaching in class. To use the board now, I have to consistently go back to my desk, away from my students, to change or enter in any information. This makes it difficult for me to engage and interact with my student. When we return in class, I would love to surprise them with this new equipment in their room. This board would allow every student to expand their learning and skills because it has potential to help students of every learning style. Finally, I believe just being able to view clear, high quality materials on this board would have a huge impact on my students
