Students don’t approach every new learning task in exactly the same way, but how children interact with new information does fall into patterns that draw on natural talents and preferences. Those patterns are learning strengths, and they are the passageway to learning. In today's society, kids are comfortable with technology, so using an Ipad to help kids learn math puts the students at ease. Technology is the best pathway for some kids to learn certain math skills. I would like to use the Ipad in a math center. The student or group of students can use this technology for math manipulatives in order to see the math skill in pictures, to practice math multiplication and division facts, watch math lessons, listen to fun math songs, or play math games. The possibilities of using the Ipad to help students have fun and build confidence while learning math are endless.
