Many of my students don't have the necessary resources to keep up with the way education has recently changed. During this pandemic I bought many school materials to mail home to students who were lacking basic school supplies. I learned that not being able to have their classroom pets around any longer made for some very sad children. I would want to be able to know that each and every one of my students are happy and have the basic supplies they need to carry on their education. Being inclusive of all of my students and their educational needs and social emotional needs is of utmost importance to me during these trying times. Every child deserves to have the best educational experience so that they may become successful in their journey, but most importantly so that they are happy. My students will love to see their pets but also to have plush pets to help them transition easily into school and to allow them to have a token of love.
