These books and games will make a difference to my students by giving them the safe space that they need to express themselves and change the world someday. It will allow them to learn in a different way (about their mental health, self-growth, and self-esteem), empower them to have deep and meaningful conversations with their peers and to use their voice to speak up for change. Advocating for themselves and others is important and critical for the age of students that I work with. I chose materials that are versatile and can be used to facilitate meaningful conversations both in person and virtually!
