In the classroom we perform skill check offs that are career ready skills in the healthcare industry: body mechanics, washing hands, infections control, and proper PPE placement and removal. By recording and students watching their skill checks, they will be able to understand the need for skill checks and to adjust and learn from their mistakes. When we advance into actual patient care they can see the progress they are making. We also participate in HOSA competitions and I know this will help us with our preparation in competing with other area schools.

About my class
