Technology has become such an essential part of our lives today. My students use technology daily. However, working in a school district with high poverty, students do not have many opportunities to be engaged in technology. However, during these times, students are being required to do more and more work through means of technology. Giving students the opportunity to become more familiar with technology is something I strive to do in my classroom. I believe this gives them the opportunity to succeed in school and as they continue to grow up in a world filled with technology. The Microsoft Surface Pro that I selected will help me create lessons that my students will be able to more readily access when learning virtually. This computer will also give me the opportunity to make my lessons more easily.
