Rhythm instruments are a foundational tool in the music classroom. Students flourish as growing musicians with instruments such as these in their grasp. Playing rhythms on the tambourine, hand drums and wood block allow students to be expressive and creative, which leads to higher level thinking. These rhythm instruments can be used in a variety of ways with each class in the school. The instruments will be used every day for music class and also in programs that school staff and student’s families can see the students creative talents at work.

About my class
