The materials that my student services team are requesting will help build the social-emotional learning library at our school. Through vibrant texts and meaningful read alouds, we can expand and generalize how we feel, why we feel, and what to do when we have big, uncomfortable emotions and make this learning accessible for all learners. We often lead lessons for students and having a book that students can really hook into can make all the difference. We are asking for donations that will help build the social-emotional learning at our school and these books will give our students examples and the words in order to express themselves and to better navigate their feelings.
