Have you ever had a pair of headphones that hurt your ears? Headphones that don't work or are not reliable? In today's uncertain times, the last thing a student should be worrying about is faulty headphones. Or not having access to headphones that will allow them to hear their peers' and teachers' voices. It is of the utmost importance that students have access to the tools that they need to be successful, to learn, and grow. These headphones will be essential to our small group work. I work to reach over 40 students and address their individual needs. These students are in multiple classrooms and some are learning from home. Making sure all students are getting what they need is at the heart of my pedagogy. By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. My students are excited to be back in the classroom even though it looks very different due to COVID. Blending learning with Google Classroom and Zoom will allow students to meet with their teachers and friends. To continue to build a classroom community in which they can collaborate in group meetings using headphones or listen to an audiobook as they work.
