I plan on giving my students a great experience, even though they are limited to sitting at a desk most of the day. During Covid, I have to be creative with what I do with my class like art supplies to keep them interested in playtime, since they cannot be near each other. My list includes read alouds, that allow my students to think about text, and to respond in sketch books. I will also be teaching them how to draw figures that are not stick people. I use read alouds as mentor books to keep the students laughing and thinking deeply! The reason I need a document camera is because my students will not be able to interact with books that they usually do. So, I am putting books under the doc cam so they can all participate, since they are spread out so far away. Thank you!
